This is my University work section all work from my BA (hon's) Degree Web Design is displayed here for all years.
We were asked to create a virtual space inside an existing, contrasting, space; using the BBC Big Screen as a display platform. The theme for this virtual space is Nature. You are essentially going to be ‘bringing nature into the city centre’.

For this project I am grouped with Leon Sampson and Sam Topham, we have decided to create a virutal "space" enviroment that can be inteacted with and leave a lasting impression for the users.
to gain a better understanding of the project we got a copy of "analogue in digital out by Brendan Dawes. This gave us an insight to a similar project and helped us with the planning.
For my part, one task was to create the audio tracks and snippets for the piece, this was new to me, I had to look up the best practices for creating sounds and also which programs and how to use them.
Our planning played a major part of the project, we all worked thoroughly on the concepts, fine tuning, ideas to make the project work and storyboarding
Every week we had meetings and work on the planning side several times a week, maybe we worked too hard on this part but in all fairness we all agree it was necessary.

This was by far the most challenging project I have worked on while at University. Certainly was not the most enjoyable though, Ive mentioned before how much I hate Flash and actionscript and this has not improved my feelings for the program and code.
I just hope I manage a pass and can forget all about it
