For this brief we had to create an information architecture website for a real or notional client, a proposal document was required to outline the structure, vision and creativity of the site with good user testing and feedback. On top of this a 1500 word literature review on books about IA was to be included.

I quickly decided on my project being a website/portal for a players guild within the online only game, World of Warcraft, this guild being called Blessed. The site needed to have the ability for people to apply to the guild, for members to register to the site, have a forum and lots of information about the guild and for the members.

I've started learning PHP now and really want to implement this into the site, to challenge myself to create a database driven site with a CMS (Content Management System) for the admin.

Having a decent knowledge of such guild sites have helped me in the initial startup of the site, that with the PHP I will learn I'm looking forward to this brief.

Starting with the proposal document, planning and research/talks with my client I intend to take this site stage by stage, then after each stage has been completed, have it reviewed by my client and adjust anything as needed.

Once the Proposal document is finished, the site will start being created, while reading the books recommended by the college; to help aid my site, I will also start on my literature review of he books. Each week I want to have at least one section of the site done, moving onto the next quickly.

After a shaky start i'm very impressed with my site, the amount of PHP I have taken in to further my skills has been huge, I feel like I am now starting to make good quality sites. trying to be critical, as too give a fair reflection of the work, the site does have parts i'd like to redo, these parts being of the CSS and layout of the site, done in a way I have now rejected.

If I could do anything different it would be to of started creating the site after I learn't the new PHP and CSS code I know now.
